Mom and I went to an Aboriginal Writers Book Tour tonight at the Public Library. It was really good. I love people reading to me, especially reading meaningful stories. It was nice to attend an event that made me feel like I didn't like in a small town. Don't get me wrong I embrace my small town. Trust me you'll find me every Friday at the Legion and my coffee usually comes from Tim Hortons and I consider ice fishing to be an acceptable evening out!

We had 'A promise is a promise' when we were growing up and it scared that crap out of me.
Are you reading 'April Raintree'? My mom just sent it to me but I haven't started yet.
