My friend and I have had good intentions, for a couple years now, to start quilting. A few years back we started and never finished. So last week we started some small projects. I bought this kit (not the monkey one below, owls above) a few years ago with the intentions of making baby quilts for friends.
Well it didn't happen, but it is now! These little kits are deceiving though. Because it's bundled so nicely it makes it look like anyone can do it. Well I guess anyone can, but you do need to have some skills. Thankfully my friend does. I would love to eventually be able to do a big Star or Irish knot quilt. But I will start small and finish. I bought a couple of these kits, so my plan is to sew them up and then have them on hand for baby gifts!
