"Just a few more" is what I keep saying to myself about flowers. I keep justifying buying just a couple more plants. So today I bought 2 brown eyed susan plants, 2 lil lilac shrubs and flat of pansies. Yes mom I bought PANSIES. (On a side note my mom has a slight obsession with pansies). I did some watering, weeding and planting when I came home from work. I love that it was nice and warm when I got home. I as I am sure many others are really sick of this rain.
Friday I worked a double. After work Davide and I went to Young People Fucking. A new Canadian comedy. It literally was about young people fucking and ya that's about it. It's worth renting but I don't recommend paying theatre prices.
Saturday morning Andrea and I got our coffees and headed to St. Norbert for our first farmers market of the year. I bought some spinach and garlic. Not much else for fresh produce. But nifty little crafts. I was totally out of it for some reason Saturday. After a little Costco stop we came home. I was going to nap until I got preoccupied with old pictures. I posted some on Facebook but got way too tired of scanning, so stopped after 2 albums. I watched Freedom Writers in the evening. I love the movie. It reminds me why I want to one day (hopefully soon) I want to teach.
Sunday I tried to stay in bed as long as possible because I had no desire to clean the house. Eventually I got up and spent the day cleaning. Then we went to Davide's parents for Father's Day. We had a delicious supper, chicken N ribs..mmm.
I didn't want to wake up as usual because I didn't want to go to work as usual. But the day was fine. The warm weather made it just that much better.
