Out of complete boredom and neglect for my pile of marking, I made my way back to blogger. I spent the last hour reading my sisters wedding posts and thought hmmm I guess I have been missing it. I actually read 35 student blogs each week and don't know why I haven't been reading the rest. But I am back!
As I stated, I read 35 blogs a week. I am teaching two Grade 12 English courses, a Biology and Career Development this semester. Last semester I was blessed, I had very small classes to start out my teaching career. This semester, not so much! I started out with 40 in Transactional English - to date I have 35. It is a lot of work planning, teaching and marking classes this size but projects like Friday Blogs make it a lot more fun not to mention easier. Thanks to Erica's suggestion on No One Cares What You Had For Lunch, I have no shortage of material to come up with.
It's hard to believe that I only have 42 days of classes left this year. I honestly don't know where the time goes. But I do know that it went fast enough for Spring Break to be right around the corner. Which also means New York is almost here!
Now that I start writing, I realize that I have forgotten how to blog. I need to work on this style of writing. I feel like I am writing to myself and that I already know all of this, so why am I writing it down?
I am sure it's like riding a bicycle. Just give me time.
