Part of my planning dilemma is the fact that we're moving into my parents house this summer. We're not exactly sure on the date because my parents aren't exactly sure when their new place will be finished. However we have had discussions about us moving into the house before the baby comes and them moving their stuff out but staying with us until their new place is complete. But nothing has been finalized.
So that leaves me thinking that for the first couple months the baby is unlikely to be sleeping alone in their own room, so if we aren't in my parents house why bother setting up a nursery? I have decided I am not. I don't want to have to set it up and then just take it down.
Which leaves me to plan around my parents house. They have new hardwood floors, which happen to be the same color as the floors in this picture. Yesterday I decided I wanted light furniture but wasn't sure if it would clash with the floors. Then I came across this wall decal which I love and thought it doesn't clash at all...... but that could just be me wanting something and not really seeing something.
What do you think?
I am not convinced on the dark walls though.

I don't think it clashes. The next question is what color will the walls be and if they will clash.
I think you should make mom and dad move stuff out of the room you want to be the nursery and set it up before you move in:)
