I Will Love You Forever
I am the first to admit I lack the ability to show emotions, without embarrassment. I am not quite sure why it is. I mean I cry in movies, in commercials, whenever Oprah's on (which by the way she has her own network, so that may imply I cry all the time). But I have a hard time sharing emotions, even when I want to. It's not just crying, I don't show happiness all that well either. Don't get me wrong I don't walk around like a troll, I just don't show extremes of anything. So even if I am ecstatic I don't really show it.
Anyway my point is, this kid is softening me. Which I am not upset about at all. I was reading stories with him, Who's in the Forest, Goodnight Moon and then I Will Love You Forever. I didn't even get to the end before I started crying. Of course he was looking at me like, "Mom you're embarrassing me!"
Yesterday my mom said children humble you, everything you thought you knew you find out you don't. This must be true because everything I thought I knew about newborns, well let's just say I had the wrong information lol. But I am learning and it has been the best learning experience ever.

I'm sure he didn't look at you like you were embarrassing him...you have a few years before that will happen:)
Gets me everytime! And I read it lots to Kindergarten!
