Lesson Learned

Oh how things change when you add busy bodies to the mix and the 24 hr flu. I learned a lesson this week that, planning parties are not as easy as they once were. And the I should probably start planning Mateo's birthday now!

Aside from the lesson we had a great visit with Carmen and Charlie this week. Maternity leave is a lovely thing. We had a shower on Saturday. I had grand plans but ultimately good food saved the day. Pinterest gave me this illusion I could plan a themed shower with no problems. Then we all got the flu and babies kept us busy. I will let Carmen post pictures, mostly because I didn't even take any on my iPhone.

I am embarrassed to admit that we actually dressed Mateo and Charlie and their Peter Rabbit outfits from Gap's Beatrix Potter collection the next day because we didn't even take a picture of the party girl!
