Bring on the sun

We have had beautiful weather here. I actually wish summer was like this, it's hot but a nice cool breeze and no bugs!

It's projects projects projects around here. Davide is repairing the back garage, mom and dad are planting the garden and helping me clean up the yard. Mateo loves being outside and follows me around, helping when needed.

We are downsizing our flower beds. My parents had a beautiful yard but its a lot of work, even without a 10 month old and a husband who hates weeding. So we are taking out 3 flower beds in the front yard and replacing it with a nice play structure and area for Mateo. Of all the projects this might be the one I am most excited about.

My sister and I took Mateo to the park for the first time this past weekend and he loved it. I have already taken him twice this week.

I am also excited about the annuals I bought at Costco this weekend. If you haven't checked out a Costco greenhouse, it is worth the trip. I got beautiful hanging baskets for $11.99. I am sure that's the cheapest place around. Not that there is a Costco around here, haha.

Even though the days are getting longer they seem to being going by faster. May is already coming to an end. And we are pretty booked up for the next couple months, camps, weddings, reunions, birthdays and who knows what else. And dare I say it, soon it will be back to work for me!

Actually as of right now I am ok with heading back to work. I love being at home with Mateo, but I don't see myself quitting my job and staying home. I give the moms credit who do, but I don't see myself doing it, unless I have quadruplets next! Then it wouldn't be worth the daycare costs!

Let's hope that never happens.
