End Of An Era

I never thought I would become so attached to Mateo's hair. But I did. He was born with a full head of dark hair and it thinned then thickened then grew and grew. I never wanted to cut it, of course I did so he could see but I was always hesitant. 

But yesterday we said good bye to his lovely long locks 😥

Luckily it was worth the change. He got an adorably perfect haircut. 

This kid makes my heart burst! All of these milestones are bittersweet. I love that he is growing into such a sweet little boy but I am sad that he is so far from being my little baby. 

Speaking of little babies, I just love this squishy face.
