Slow Down Summer

All I can say is, I am so glad I still have 4 months of mat leave. I know in 3 months I will be depressed (mostly bc my baby will be 1) because I will be starting to plan  for a crazy Christmas month at school and packing my boys up for daycare. But for now I am just grateful to have more time with them. 

We took some time to relax this past week after a busy July and August long weekend. The boys and I met my parents for a day of blueberry picking. 

 

I feel like that bowl of wild blueberries is worth a million bucks!

Micah cut his first tooth this week, just in time to chow down on blueberries!

Mateo is a natural adventurer. He eats out berries but prefers to roam and explore. He mastered the whistle so we gave him some freedom to roam alone. Lucky for us we have yet to encounter a bear but that doesn't mean it won't happen one day. Although if you asked Mateo he wouldn't be scared anyway!
