I can't believe that is already 10pm on Sunday night. I had a good weekend. I had Friday off so I guess it was long weekend. Unfortunately I was woken up to my mom yelling about the sick dogs in the house. So I decided to stay up. I started making play dough for Brownie recruiting. Then made some brownies. After a little clean up we made our way to the "Local 19er" (aka known as the Legion). We spent a good part of the evening there. Where I won a roast. Yup a roast, that's how I spend my Fridays, at meat draws.
Saturday was an early morning too. Did a little housework and gardening. Then made borscht. In the evening I spent the evenings with the girls planning schedule for Brownies.
Today Davide persuaded me to go to church. I haven't been to church service (other then weddings) since high school. I've never been to the Catholic church. It was okay. I may go again we'll see. Back at home I dug some potatoes, packaged 60 balls of play dough, ate some borscht & chocolate zucchini cake, arranged the basement, folded clothes and still intend on reading a chapter of teaching.
I miss my sister and brother, friends, work a little bit but otherwise I am pretty content here. I thought I'd miss Starbucks, Costco and the movies more but not so much. I am broke so Costco isn't necessary not too mention the over abundance of food we have here. Lyet's does the trick for my coffee fix and I have been too busy for the movies. But when I get a minute you can't beat going to a fairly new movie with popcorn and drink for $10.
I love school. I am excited to go to SAG and start my practicum in November.
I am excited about our Brownie group even if we only have 6 girls. I want to decorate a tree for Festival of Trees and make a float for Trappers Festival.
But for now I should just curl up and read my text book.

FYI 'aka' means also known as so you don't need to write aka known as...
Sounds like you're having fun:)
