I 'm home, yay?

As much as I love going away I equally love coming home.

I had a great trip to Victoria. The weather was beautiful. Sunny clear skies with +10 kind of weather. Of course it's still 'winter' to the spoiled Victorians... but to me it's pretty close to summer!

We did our presentation. It went well. We had only postive feedback. Which is always a good sign. I got to attend a lot of sessions including a luncheon with the artist Robert Bateman. I even spoke to the Dean's of Education in Regina/Nunavut about doing one of my practicums in their program in Iquluat! Of course I still have a lot of planning to do if that's going to happen.

I love learning new things. I like school but I love conferences because it's all the important, fun information packed into a weekend rather than 4 months. So to keep up the learning I am going to a conference in 2 weeks in the Whiteshell. It will be put on by the Manitoba Forestry Association for teachers to help teach students about the environment. I am super excited!
