Living in the North we're alittle behind 'in season'... so we've been harvesting some yummy salads. My plan next week is to make Erica's delicious looking strawberry/rhubarb pie. That will have to happen after our little getaway this weekend. We're heading to Martinsville, SK for an old highschool friend's wedding.On another note I am loving Julie & Julia. Too be honest I knew very little about Julia Child and nothing about Julie Powell. But I feel strangely connected to their stories. I am not by any means stuck in a rut and needing a change but I can see how doing something a simple as learning to cook can really inspire a person.
While maybe not inspiring, my new obession True Blood is pretty addicting. I've been watching the new season on HBO but feeling a little lost, so I am half way through the 1st season. It's
