This past week has been terrible, weatherwise at least. It's either raining or overcast. Today we had some sun but it was not a hot summer day, like it should be. My mom and I weeded a flower bed than went rock picking. Yes rock picking. Not too far from here a secret place to get beautiful round rocks. It's not an easy job but it's worth it when you see the end result.
On top of the rain our home is under renovation. Graeme is almost finished putting in the kitchen tiles and mudding the laundry room. So tomorrow if it's not sunny I'll have to do some housework. Considering I spent almost the whole week curled up in a ball on the couch watching True Blood or on here downloading i Tunes or buying books on Amazon.
On a happy note I only have 2 weeks left of work. I love the kids. I've had so much fun with them. I am just ready for a break from school related stuff. I've been putting together a booklet of all my planning for this summer. It's looking good but a lot of work. I get 3 weeks off til school so that's good. I'm hoping that's when summer decides to show up. My holidays begin with a Spa weekend with my mom and sister. I believe we're going to Elkhorn Spa & Resort. I am looking forward to it. Davide and I may still take a short holiday somewhere, depending on whether he gets a week off or not. I am sort of hoping he doesn't so he can take a week off at the end of September and we can go to Minneapolis to see King's of Leon and do early Christmas shopping. We'll see!
