Bigger Bed is Better

Mateo is a boob man. In the beginning he nursed constantly, now it has slowed down. But lately (who am I kidding the past 3 months) this kid has been helping himself to an all night buffet. Which means he sleeps with us. I didn't intend for this go happen. Too be honest I was probably a little over confident it wouldn't. Especially after 3 months of sleeping through the night. I knew breastfed babies were known to wake more often than non breastfed but Jesus, every hour?

So of course I have been asking and reading everything on how to get this kid to sleep longer periods and today I have come to realize that as long as I want to exclusively breastfeed this kid is going to be up every hour or so to get some. I don't actually mind him sleeping with me, it's so easy to roll over and nurse. I don't have to get up and make bottles or rock him to sleep. But now that he is moving around I am worried about him rolling out of the bed. So my solution is to buy a kingsize bed!

This kingsize bed will likely be full of kids for the next few years but one day it will be all to myself, well Davide will still be there, but I probably won't even notice him. So this is my solution to my night grazer problem!
