Raspberry Jam

This morning I whipped up a batch of raspberry jam. I did it with Micah next to me playing with pots and pans, while Mateo entertained himself.

Davide came home at lunch. I said you know we make a good team, I think we could be homesteaders. He laughed and said no thanks!

But I was more complimenting him. He has been busy renovating our basement. His project last night was laying flooring in the bathroom. Tonight he will install the new vanity and sink. 

He really is a jack of all trades. He does mechanics, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, landscaping... The list goes on. So think back to the turn of the century and put us together. We would have made it!

Or think  2 seasons ago on Walking Dead... We could make it work in a post apocalyptic  world. He could rig up a fence to keep the zombies out, we would plant a garden, raise some chickens and he could add to his list of to do's - kill zombies!
