One of the many beautifully blooming barrels around our yard.
I have no idea why my blog will no longer let me upload photos, I don't even know how to begin the "fix this problem". Oh well. With or without pictures I will continue on!
We've been in the house for just over a month now and have been incredibly busy (mostly Davide). I keep busy puttering around but I am not nearly as productive, however I do not mind. I am the one who will be giving birth to our child in the next week or so, so I have no problem watching others work.
Friday night I went to the new Pixar movie Brave. It was so refreshing to watch a movie with a little firecracker of a princess, one that doesn't need a man to save her. I hope this is a new trend we see in Hollywood.
Saturday my students graduated. It's always a moment of pride when you watch someone else accomplish their goal, especially when you actively helped them achieve it. I feel so lucky to have a full time permanent job, but also one that I truly love. I rarely feel overwhelmed or exhausted, and if I do it's usually my own doing; procrastinating or staying up too late watching TV the night before classes. I will definitely miss my job but I am looking forward to a year off and being a mom.
I don't love "keeping house" however I do enjoy cooking and baking. Maybe I will pick up some cleaning habits with the extra time. But I doubt it.
And lastly today we went up to Cranberry. It's hard to pull Davide away from here. In his words there is just so much to do. Which is true. And he's been taking advantage of the nice weather and spending 4 hrs in the evenings outside and 8 + hrs yesterday. The yard looks fantastic. He even got the hot tub running, not that I can use it. So needless to say he took a little break to drive up to the lake to help Mom and Dad out abit. Mom and I went for a nice little walk while they did boys jobs. I came home to nap and woke up to some yummy muffins our lovely neighbour brought over (Vida aka Erica's mom). It was a nice surprise. I made some supper and cleaned up and am patiently waiting for True Blood.
I have tried to book something everyday this week, even just lunch with friends to keep me busy and not thinking is today the say that I am going to have this baby. But let's all hope that by this time next week there is a little boy welcomed into this world.

Too bad you missed my mom - she was looking forward to talking to you! I'm sure you'll run into each other soon enough :)
I would love some muffins...
Good luck with having an 'on time' delivery! It would definitely work out great for my schedule;)
