Yup... I am still pregnant. I had an ultrasound yesterday morning and everything is good so we're waiting to induce on Monday. I don't really want to induce but I also don't want to wait much longer. Last night and this morning I have had annoying back pain but otherwise I have felt quite normal. However not normal enough to do much.
I never thought I would be someone who would be itching to wash floors, clean the bathroom, weed the gardens..... but I want to. I am tired of doing nothing. It doesn't help that it's been incredibly hot here. So sweeping the floors just wipes me out.
On the flip side we hooked up a borrowed portable AC from a friend in the kitchen and the temperature outside has gone down a little so it is bearable in the house again. Prior to that I have been holed up in my room with A/C, TV, Internet and a comfy bed. Or going for bumpy car rides in A/C.
I guess this weekend is just the calm before the storm. I don't feel up to doing much, but next weekend the house will be full of company and visitors. Hopefully ones that don't mind dead flies on my window seal because I see them as I type but can't bend down to get them without seeing stars when I get up. If I remember I will get Davide to clean them beforehand, lol.
Anyway, hopefully next time I update it will be something eventful. Maybe a minute by minute account of labour? Keep me busy?
