This was my Monday blog. I was all excited about how I was going to blog everyday then my app on my iPhone wouldn't work, but it's working now so maybe I can catch up.
I went in to start RESP's for Mateo. When I had called they said I just needed his SIN but when I got there, they said I needed his birth certificate too. Which I didn't have because I sent his away only to find out fees had gone up so they returned my cheque and application. Anyway luckily Mateo was a happy camper. I need to read this package anyway because apparently we qualify for some government grants where they match our contributions. So that's exciting.
The first month of snowfalls, or snowfalls prior to Christmas always make me happy.
I made carrot cake and did it in a bundt cake pan. Apparently the recipe for icing was more than needed. But delicious nonetheless.
As I was taking pictures of my food, I laughed to myself and thought I bet Instagram can even make my compost look good. What do you think?
My pretty wintery backyard.
I don't know when it happened but my baby looks like a little boy now. As much as I don't miss the constant nursing, I do wish he would slow down on me. Anyway we were getting ready to go for our walk. He puts up a fight getting dressed but loves it once we start moving.
Why not end a cold day with a warm lasagna? I am sure Garfield would approve!

Glad you got information on RESPs, better to start as early as possible to take advantage of the government matching grants!
