We have an eventful summer ahead. Last summer was all babies. I don't think I attended a single wedding, oh wait I did my sisters brother inlaws in September. But this summer seems to be wedding summer again. I have 4 plus a reunion and camping with friends.
Our family reunion starts tomorrow. It's not as big as the one in 2007 but we still expect a modest 40 people. I don't know how big my Mom's side of the family is now but there has to be over 60 people. I feel very lucky to have such a close big family. I also feel lucky for Mateo. There were 5 babies born in his year and 2 more this year. I don't know how many families are close with their second and third cousins but I hope our kids grow up knowing each other. Who knows maybe this will become an annual event?
