So I am little closer to knowing what's happening in the next few months. I received a letter of conditional acceptance. I have met the academic requirements for the education program at UCN. I will be doing an interview in the next week or so. Then by mid-May I'll know. It's not based on the interview. It's based on whether they can offer the program. Basically whether they will have enough qualified interest. So that's a bit of good news.
We went out to Melita to visit family this weekend. I haven't been out there for awhile. Not much has changed in the town. But I still love going back for visits. I have so many good memories from my childhood; buying pic a pops, the park with the old merry go round, outdoor swimming pool, stuffing our bras, waxing our eyebrows, my mom's 'famous' artwork in the museum and of course having a HUGE family.
My cousin had her new baby boy out there. He was absolutely adorable. The perfect child. I don't know if I even heard him cry once over the weekend. Too bad Dan wasn't there. He could have fallen in love with him and decided to speed up the baby making plans. Then I can live vicariously through my sis. A couple years yet for me.
Well I am off to work a night shift with my new love Julian McMahon, yup another full season to pass the time!
