So I found the perfect jeans on the weekend. They were a pair of skinny leg, low rise, dark wash jeans from Gap. To put the cherry on top they are made in Canada! Unfortunately they were a little pricey $79.50. I know that's not that extreme but I am trying to not live as impulsively. So I made a deal with Davide that if I cleaned up all my clothes in the basement (I gave a huge bag away last month), made supper everyday (not eating out) and went to the gym at least 4 times then I could buy them on FRIDAY, yay! So far I have started making supper. But I'm going to the gym and to start some laundry soon.
I had a nice warm weekend. Friday night we went out for Davide's birthday. I was uber impressed by the 'urban picnic' we shared at Civita's. Saturday my mom and I went for a lovely walk for coffee for her boys, then we went to the new cafe Fresh (delicious). We did a Costco run, then headed out to buy seeds and made a quick stop at Scattered Seeds Craft Show. Everytime I go to a craft show I remind myself how I should be doing this on my own and not spending an arm and a leg on it!
Saturday night we went out to friends for a bonfire. The first of the season. It was nice. Sunday morning Davide and I decided to dress in shorts and tee shirts and take Mala to the dog park. Unfortunately we didn't take into account the wind. It was sooooo cold. Nonetheless we had fun at the park. Then had a yummy lunch at Stella's new location. In the evening we had a bbq at Dan's. It was again yummy!
So overall I had a great weekend. My weekend ended on an even better note. I checked online and I PASSED MY STATS. Good for me!
I'm really hoping our plans to move to The Pas turn out. Basically I am waiting to hear back from the university. If it's a go then we're going. I have so many plans. I think my parents are excited to have us back.
It's funny how things change. In highschool I would have never thought that I'd be married, let alone being married and moving home with my parents. I definitely don't think it's a negative thing. I can only think of positive outcomes.
If we go I am looking forward to long walks off the leash with Mala, gardening, hanging out with friends, baking... okay I am getting way ahead of myself.
Back to supper & laundry.

I like the justification to buy the jeans! What style were they?
